Concrete Compression Testing Machines: Revolutionizing Construction Quality Control

A concrete compression testing machine is equipped with a system. It is a hydraulic compression test. Used for performing compressive strength tests and four-point bending tests.

It is used on:

  • Concrete,
  • Cement composites,
  • Mortars,
  • Bricks,
  • Stones
  • And other construction materials.

This concrete cube testing equipment for Construction Quality Control is featured with hydraulic loading, sensor force measurement, digital display of load value and loading rate, and micro printer to print various test data.

It is an indispensable compressive strength tester for construction, building materials, highway bridges, engineering design and other units.

Features of Concrete Pressure Testing Machine

  • Concrete compression testing machine adopt the integrated structure of loading frame and hydraulic system.
  • The operator can manually adjust the test space to accommodate samples of different sizes.
  • The pressure plate is hydraulically actuated to apply force to the sample.
  • Manually turn the hand valve to control load and speed.
  • Equipped with digital displays to show charging value and charging rate in real time.
  • With maximum load peak hold function.
  • The Concrete Strength Test report supports on-site printing.
  • The test area is equipped with a protective door.
  • The concrete compression tester has an overload protection function.

Control cabin

Concrete compression testing machines contain a system of hydraulic mechanisms that can be operated manually. The control cabinet contains the oil tank and the oil pump. The control cabinet has two wheel-operated valves, which can be found on the front side. Oil supply valve is one of them. The oil return valve is the other one.

Oil pump will force the oil in the oil tank through the oil supply valve and into the working cylinder when the oil supply valve is opened. This will cause the piston to move. It will apply a lot of pressure to the sample. Simultaneously, the oil is delivered to the pressure sensor through the pressure oil pipe.

The microcomputer measurement and control system then transforms and processes the sensor output in order to indicate the test force value. As a result, you must turn the hand-wheel in either a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction by hand. This is done to change the load and the loading rate while the test is being conducted.

When the oil return valve is opened, oil moves from the working oil cylinder to the oil tank through the oil return pipe. The oil cylinder will be relieved of its pressure. During the test, be careful to keep the oil return valve closed.

Load frame

The loading structure and control cabinet of this Concrete Testing Equipment, which is used to test concrete compressive strength, are combined into one unit. The loading frame has a four-column configuration. A thick, solid plate links the tops of the four columns, creating a sturdy frame that can bear the pressure throughout the test.

A heavy duty lead screw travels through the thick plate longitudinally and vertically. A huge hand-wheel is located at the top of the lead screw. The lead screw has a metal plate that is fastened to its bottom. The lower platen will move up and down in time with the upper hand-wheel as it revolves to the left and right.

Concluding Words

When the sample is put on the sample plate, the hand-wheel should be rotated. It continues until the upper plate makes gentle contact with the top of the sample. The top and lower pressure plates can be separated by a maximum distance of 330 mm. A protective door is installed to enclose the test space and keep the operator safe during the test.
